Summer Special Course (July)Sogang Korean Immersion Program

The Korean Immersion Program is a four-week program designed for students
who would like to improve their conversational Korean skills and their knowledge of Korean culture,
and runs from June to July with 30 hours of class per week.

Target Students	High school graduates and prospective students, university students, adults * The class is held in Korean only, with the cooperation of the students. Active participation is required because the classes are designed as an interactive immersion program.
Course Levels	Beginner through Advanced language courses offeredLevel 1 ~ Level 5
Class Size	Average class size of 12 Max. 16
Class Hour	4 hour language classes and 2 hour culture classes each day 6 hours per day, Mon-Fri Total 120 hrs
Class Time	Language class 09:00-13:00 (4 hours) each day Culture class 14:30-16:30 (2 hours) each day * Out-of-class activities on campus and in Seoul (Some activities may require an extra fee)
Optional Programs	Language exchange, special weekend activities
Credit	6 credit program *Credits may be transferred to the students’ home institution by requesting an official transcript to be sent to their university’s registrar’s office. In order to receive credit, students are required to attend at least 80% of their classes.
Dormitory	Optional choice. It will be based on first-come, first-serve basis. Meals are not included.

Level test	Level test is required for all students, except who need to start from Korean alphabet or barely knows Korean.
